Kitchen and bathroom remodels, basement finishing, flooring, decks, interior and exterior painting, whole-home renovations, and turnovers and small repairs. We work on single-family houses, multi-unit rentals and light-commercial spaces such as small offices and shops.

Philadelphia and the suburbs in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, within about 30 miles of our base in Northeast Philadelphia. Our service areas page lists every town; if yours is just outside it, call and ask.

Yes. Underhill Lions LLC is a registered Pennsylvania home improvement contractor (PA HIC PA203239) and holds a City of Philadelphia contractor license (#065509) and a commercial activity license. We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance and hold OSHA 30 certification.

Yes. Call or text us a few photos and a short description and we can usually give you a range on the first call. For larger projects we visit, measure and send a written scope and schedule before any work starts.

Yes. We pull the permits the work needs with the City of Philadelphia, or the township in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, and schedule the inspections. Our licenses and insurance are on file with the city.

Licensed plumbing and electrical partners we work with on every project. They are scheduled inside our timeline and their permits and inspections are part of the job, so you never have to coordinate a second contractor.

Usually yes. We phase the work room by room, seal the areas we are working in and keep a working kitchen or bathroom available for as long as we can. For a full gut of every room at once it is easier to move out for a few weeks, and we will tell you that up front.

Yes. Drywall patches, a door that will not close, trim, caulking, a leaking faucet through our plumbing partner, a room that needs paint. We batch small items into one visit so the trip is worth it for both of us.
