A floor is the largest surface in a room and the first thing that gives away a rushed job: a hollow sound, a gap at the wall, a plank that lifts in the second winter. Underhill Lions LLC installs luxury vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood and tile across Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery Counties, with the subfloor work done first.

Luxury vinyl plank and laminate

LVP is what we install most: waterproof, warm underfoot, quick to install and convincing as wood. We use it in kitchens, basements and rental units and anywhere with kids, dogs or moisture. Laminate is the budget option for dry rooms. Both float over an underlayment on a subfloor we have leveled and repaired.

Hardwood and tile

Solid and engineered hardwood nailed or glued down in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, with stairs to match. Porcelain and ceramic tile in bathrooms, kitchens, entries and laundry rooms, on a proper backer and with straight grout lines. Every job ends with matching baseboards, shoe molding and transitions.

Request a free estimate with the rooms and the square footage if you know it; we will confirm on site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Luxury vinyl plank for kitchens, basements, rentals and anywhere water is likely; hardwood or engineered wood for living areas and bedrooms where you want the real thing; tile for bathrooms, entries and mudrooms. We bring samples to the walk-through.

Yes. Removal and disposal of carpet, old vinyl, tile or damaged wood is part of the estimate, and we fix the subfloor before the new floor goes down.

A few rooms of LVP or laminate in one to two days; a whole floor of a house in three to five. Tile and hardwood take longer because of set and finish times.

Yes. Stair treads, risers and landings in matching hardwood or LVP stair nosing, so the stairs do not look like an afterthought.

We repair and replace damaged boards and we install new hardwood. For a full sand and refinish of an existing floor we bring in a refinishing partner and coordinate it inside your project.
