A kitchen is the room that gets used every day and the one where mistakes show first: a cabinet run that is not level, a countertop seam in the wrong place, an outlet the code inspector flags. Underhill Lions LLC remodels kitchens across Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery Counties with our own crew for demolition, framing, drywall, tile, flooring and finish carpentry, and licensed partners for plumbing and electrical.

From layout to the last cabinet pull

We start with measurements and a layout conversation before anything is ordered, because the layout decides what the kitchen costs and how it works. Then a written scope and schedule, selections for cabinets, counters and tile, and demolition only once the cabinet delivery date is confirmed. Rough plumbing and electrical go in with the walls open, then cabinets set level and scribed to the walls, countertops templated and installed, backsplash tiled, flooring finished and every fixture connected.

Materials we work with

Stock and semi-custom cabinets, quartz and granite counters, ceramic and porcelain tile, luxury vinyl plank and hardwood floors. We buy from suppliers we know in the Philadelphia area and we are glad to install cabinets or counters you sourced yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most kitchens take three to five weeks from demolition to walk-through once materials are on site. Cabinets and countertops have their own lead times, so we order first and demolish only when the delivery date is confirmed.

Yes. Opening a kitchen to the dining or living room is one of the most common requests in Philadelphia rowhomes and twins. We check whether the wall is load-bearing, frame the header, and handle the permit and inspection.

Yes. We install cabinets from Home Depot, a kitchen showroom or a custom shop. We will check the order against the measurements before it ships, because a missing filler or the wrong depth is much cheaper to fix on paper.

No. We keep the sink and refrigerator usable as long as the layout allows, usually until the counters are removed, and we set up a temporary spot for a microwave and coffee maker.

Yes. We pull the permits the work needs with the City of Philadelphia, or the township in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, and schedule the inspections. Our licenses and insurance are on file with the city.
