A bright, easy-to-clean walk-in shower for a home on Buck Road in Feasterville.
What we built
- Walls in large-format marble-look porcelain tile.
- Corner shelves set into the tile.
- A pebble mosaic floor for grip underfoot.
- A frameless glass door and brushed-nickel fixtures.
See our bathroom remodeling service for how we plan, waterproof and tile a shower.
Why these finishes
Large-format porcelain tiles mean fewer grout lines on the walls, so there is less to scrub and less to stain. Porcelain is dense and absorbs almost no water, which is why it holds up in a shower. Small pebble tiles on the floor do the opposite job: the extra grout lines and rounded stones give bare feet grip. Corner shelves set into the tile keep bottles off the floor, and a frameless glass door lets the tile show through and is easy to wipe down.
