The bars go into the framing, not just the drywall, so they hold a person's weight. If tile is loose, grout stays damp, the floor is soft near the toilet or the shower has leaked, the walls need to come open and that is a remodel. **Can you refresh a rental unit between tenants?** Yes. A refresh fits inside a turnover: the vanity, toilet, mirror, light and floor change in days, and the unit can be listed again the same week. We also do the rest of the turnover, paint and repairs included. **Can you add grab bars without retiling?** At the tub and toilet, yes, anchored into the framing behind the wall.
