Content:
A bathroom built around a walk-in shower in a Newtown home.

## What we did

- Tiled a walk-in shower in gray stone-look porcelain.
- Installed a black-framed sliding glass door, rain head and hand shower.
- Fitted a wood vanity with a white top, a black mirror and a black vanity light.
- Laid a gray tile floor.

## Why a walk-in shower

A walk-in shower with no tub to step over is easier to use every day and opens up the room. A sliding glass door keeps water in without a curtain to wash, and the black frame matches the rest of the fixtures. A rain head and a hand shower on a slide bar cover both a relaxing shower and quick rinsing or cleaning. Stone-look porcelain gives the look of natural stone without the sealing natural stone needs.
